Description:

A decrease in residences within the downtown core led the City of Windsor to host the Maiden Lane Development Competition, with a goal to develop a multi-purpose space for retail, entertainment, and living.  Maiden Lane currently operates as an undeveloped link between two main streets.  The design called for a structure that blends with its surroundings, but still makes a unique statement.  The was accomplished through the use of materials and open space throught the building.
